5 Stars Awesome
This is my third Samsung in the past 4 years. I started with the first gen LED DLP which crapped out and then was replaced by the hl61A750 which is an amazing piece of work and is still kicking. I also purchased my first LCD as the ln40a650 which has since been moved to my bedroom to make room for the ln55b650 which I will review here.

This TV is amazing. Some may dislike the bevel in the middle but I don’t even notice it, partly due to the fact that my center speaker is blocking it. I currently have the tv on a stand slightly higher than eye level, which is somewhat unfortunate. Straight on this picture is the best I’ve seen as of yet except for the DLP. Off center though you lose a little bit of depth and things become kinda purple/blue. My setup is just a couch in front of the tv though so I only have that problem when I’m in the kitchen and watching. Colors look natural and beautiful on this set, which keeps up with the Samsung standard I have grown to love. To watch DVDs I now use my PS3 and they look great. I believe I’ve turned off the AMP feature as I’ve noticed there is slight input lag especially when it comes to gaming. (Tested in demo mode w/ games like guitar hero where you can see the difference) For TV and movies it might not be bad, but I’m ok with how it looks normally. 24p works flawlessly with blu-ray and the picture is amazing. Wall-E is the only movie I have since it came with the PS3 but it’s great. Blacks are black and the whites are white. Completely satisfied with this TV.

I purchased this TV for $1800 here I guess during some amazing 2 day special because the price has been fluctuating. But at that price it can’t be beat. If you’re considering this set, just get it. you won’t be let down.

2 Stars Great picture but auto motion plus is useless
This LCD Tv has a stunning good picture quality, but as soon as there is any fast motion, there is still a great deal of jutter or blurring of the image. I returned it for this reason.

5 Stars LCD vs LED
After ordered the LCD with Amazon, I read some reviews and found out that CEVA, shipping company was lousy. That is not the case here for me. They were very professional, 2 guys carried it into the house, and even asked if I want to have the LCD out of the box. I didn’t want it out and all I had to do was to sign a piece of paper stating that buyer does not want the unit out. They called and scheduled the delivery and very on time. I have to give them A+ for delivery. Can’t ask anything more than this from buying on Amazon, NO TAX & FREE SHIPPING – I love it.

Samsung makes a beautiful unit, lucky me that I didn’t waste money for Sony, much cheaper and same or better quality. Buyers out there, don’t be fooled by the products displayed in the store. Because LED is the new phase, so what they do is they place the LCD and LED side by side for comparison. I saw these two units at the store and the LCD was no match to the LED. The reason is this, at the store the place the LCD on the lower solution and that makes the LCD look cheap. After I got the unit, turned it on and the picture is beautiful, flawless, awesome. Making the football season is amazing on the HD. The red touch is very cool to some. That means you can turn on or off the unit with a soft touch in the front without using remote control. The sound is OK to me. I am looking to buy another Samsung when the price is right. Goodluck to all with Samsung.

5 Stars 55″ of great viewing
I recieved this TV about a month ago, I absolutely love it. I know that this TV has the very best picture of any TV that I have ever seen. Coupled with my new Sony Blue Ray player, the viewing experience is marvelous, simply marvelous.

5 Stars Great HDTV
Great HDTV, picture is fantastic. Don’t know about audio as I have it hooked up to a home theater. I have it hanging on a wall so it takes up no space at all. Easy to set up, only needed my neighbor to help me lift in on the wall. What can I say, I’m getting older. Great for watching football or blu ray. Recommended.

5 Stars What a picture!!!!
This is my first LCD TV and I love it. I did alot of research before buying this particular model. I had been following the reviews and prices of the LN40B650 but when I realized that it had a glossy screen and I have a very bright room, I decided to go with the 630 model because it had a matte finish on the screen. When the TV is on there is very little glare. The TV is a dust magnet but I just keep the softcloth that came with the TV nearby. I have made few adjustments to the controls. The speakers are OK; a bit tinny. I have had the TV for a month and I still sit in front of it and stare at the clarity of the picture. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The delivery was flawless…on time, polite and friendly people. The deliveryman did remove the top of the box before he left so we could make sure the screen was intact. Otherwise, I had to set everything up.

5 Stars Size matters…
We got this Samsung 40″ LCD to replace our 10 year old TV. Wow. We love everything about it. It’s very elegant and looks great in the living room. It’s thin, so you get more space in a crammed NYC apartment. The picture is superb! Love it

5 Stars I have had this tv for 3 weeks and ….
it has exceeded everything that I could have hoped for. The picture is perfect and the sound from the

tv is above average. I picked up this tv from Best Buy for $899. The 80,000:1 resolution is what sold me. Compare to a Sony, and there is no comparison. Oh and the 120HZ is two thumbs up.

5 Stars WOW great tv
Image looks like people are right in front, great real images, very natural, I paid us$ 883.00 with a free blue ray, so it does not get any better. I feel like buying a 2nd one to replace my Sony Lcd Bravia.

5 Stars Samsung HDTVs are the way to go….
This television is an HDTV LCD model has the quality of almost the new LED models. Great bargain for an 40inch television. Picture quality is even enhanced when you have HDTV signals. Can play .wmv, .avi files right from the flashdrive so you can watch the movies that are originally on your computer and view them on this big screen. Touch of Color- red makes this unique and different from other standard televisions. not too heavy either.

4 Stars Go with the 120 Hz if you’re gonna spend the money….
The clarity on this Samsung model is phenomenal. The black is definitely blacker than any model I have seen but if you’re gonna spend upwards of $1,500, do yourself a favor, spend the extra $300 and get a 120 hz refresh rate. This model boasts a 60 hz, which in itself is not bad at all, but it seems like when you get as big as a 52″, the fast action seems to blur a lot more than my older 40″. Maybe it is the size difference effecting it, but I wish I had sucked it up and got the 120hz. On slow movies, or even sports such as golf, hockey, or football, you won’t notice. But watch a quick movie with lots of action scenes, and you will notice a bit of a blur/pixel on this model. Just go and get that extra 60hz, you won’t regret it.

5 Stars LCD HDTV
So Far this 52 inch TV is one the best buys that I have made on line, free shipping and received when said, a good price, with a nice discount, good picture and a very nice color, u can’t beat this product.

5 Stars Nice!!
Great picture! The sound is very clear and plenty loud. No need to rush out and buy a sound system unless that’s your thing. Delivery was courteous and punctual. All in all this turned out to be a great way to purchase the Samsung LN52B550 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color.

5 Stars 52 Samsung Awesome
I got my 52LN550 ladder part of August. When I got the HD hookup with Dish, it took my breath away.

What a gorgeous picture. I watch Whale Wars on Animal Planet and I felt like I was in the cabin of the ship. Everything so clear. My Uncle came to visit, went home and ordered one, he was so impressed.

Football games-Whow! Beautiful.

5 Stars BUY IT
All I can say is this is a super TV. Beautiful picture,no glare problems, just out of the box, it arrived to me in only a couple of days, and me and the delivery guy opened it up, the box was in great condition and we looked it over, plugged it in and it came right on, there have been comments about the sound, but I find it to be just great, I have it in a small living room, so with just the sound 1/4 of the way up it is very loud and sounds great. I am sure with a sound system it would be much better, but I think you will still enjoy it,unless you are wanting the whole movie surround sound, and all I can say is Amazon is a great company to deal with, I had ordered the 46″ before, but my friend had the 52″ and I wanted it, they only charged me 49.95 to return it and my account was immediately credited, you can not go wrong with this company, AAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++. A Happy customer, Sherri :) Also Ceva was the delivery company and both times were excellent.
