5 Stars Awesome
This is my third Samsung in the past 4 years. I started with the first gen LED DLP which crapped out and then was replaced by the hl61A750 which is an amazing piece of work and is still kicking. I also purchased my first LCD as the ln40a650 which has since been moved to my bedroom to make room for the ln55b650 which I will review here.

This TV is amazing. Some may dislike the bevel in the middle but I don’t even notice it, partly due to the fact that my center speaker is blocking it. I currently have the tv on a stand slightly higher than eye level, which is somewhat unfortunate. Straight on this picture is the best I’ve seen as of yet except for the DLP. Off center though you lose a little bit of depth and things become kinda purple/blue. My setup is just a couch in front of the tv though so I only have that problem when I’m in the kitchen and watching. Colors look natural and beautiful on this set, which keeps up with the Samsung standard I have grown to love. To watch DVDs I now use my PS3 and they look great. I believe I’ve turned off the AMP feature as I’ve noticed there is slight input lag especially when it comes to gaming. (Tested in demo mode w/ games like guitar hero where you can see the difference) For TV and movies it might not be bad, but I’m ok with how it looks normally. 24p works flawlessly with blu-ray and the picture is amazing. Wall-E is the only movie I have since it came with the PS3 but it’s great. Blacks are black and the whites are white. Completely satisfied with this TV.

I purchased this TV for $1800 here I guess during some amazing 2 day special because the price has been fluctuating. But at that price it can’t be beat. If you’re considering this set, just get it. you won’t be let down.

2 Stars Great picture but auto motion plus is useless
This LCD Tv has a stunning good picture quality, but as soon as there is any fast motion, there is still a great deal of jutter or blurring of the image. I returned it for this reason.

5 Stars LCD vs LED
After ordered the LCD with Amazon, I read some reviews and found out that CEVA, shipping company was lousy. That is not the case here for me. They were very professional, 2 guys carried it into the house, and even asked if I want to have the LCD out of the box. I didn’t want it out and all I had to do was to sign a piece of paper stating that buyer does not want the unit out. They called and scheduled the delivery and very on time. I have to give them A+ for delivery. Can’t ask anything more than this from buying on Amazon, NO TAX & FREE SHIPPING – I love it.

Samsung makes a beautiful unit, lucky me that I didn’t waste money for Sony, much cheaper and same or better quality. Buyers out there, don’t be fooled by the products displayed in the store. Because LED is the new phase, so what they do is they place the LCD and LED side by side for comparison. I saw these two units at the store and the LCD was no match to the LED. The reason is this, at the store the place the LCD on the lower solution and that makes the LCD look cheap. After I got the unit, turned it on and the picture is beautiful, flawless, awesome. Making the football season is amazing on the HD. The red touch is very cool to some. That means you can turn on or off the unit with a soft touch in the front without using remote control. The sound is OK to me. I am looking to buy another Samsung when the price is right. Goodluck to all with Samsung.

5 Stars 55″ of great viewing
I recieved this TV about a month ago, I absolutely love it. I know that this TV has the very best picture of any TV that I have ever seen. Coupled with my new Sony Blue Ray player, the viewing experience is marvelous, simply marvelous.

5 Stars Great HDTV
Great HDTV, picture is fantastic. Don’t know about audio as I have it hooked up to a home theater. I have it hanging on a wall so it takes up no space at all. Easy to set up, only needed my neighbor to help me lift in on the wall. What can I say, I’m getting older. Great for watching football or blu ray. Recommended.

5 Stars Great Picture
This TV has a great picture. I did a lot of research before selecting plasma. I really don’t have problems with it being too dim, looks great. Lots of threads on [...] about how to break in and change picture settings to get best looking picture. Amazon customer service is great! If you are on the fence go for it!

4 Stars Fantastic tv with fantastic price
im really happy with this plasma for how much i paid for it, the color is AMAZING, the THX take you movie watching experience to the next level.

5 Stars Great T.V.
46 inch Panasonic G10. I was able to schedule the delivery without extra cost and they set it up in just a few minutes. Amazing TV. Using ATT U-Verse TV and Internet. HD channels are simply amazing. For those buying from Amazon.com (which is what I recommend). Wait for the Panasonic Blu-ray special if that is important to you. It showed up 2-3 days after I purchased the T.V. Sometimes you have to click “reload” on your browser several times before it shows up in the “Special offers” section. A lot of other sites have this T.V. for a few bucks cheaper but Amazon’s customer service is probably the best, just in case you get a “bad” item. Great service, great price. Anyone will be pleased with this T.V.

5 Stars Gotta Love HDTV!
I love my Purchase. It looks great. The internal sound kinda sucks but when I get my external surround set up it will be fine. Great for TV and gaming.

4 Stars Solid TV
Overall I’m pretty happy with my purchase of the Panasonic TC-P46G10. Sports (especially football and baseball games) look great on this thing. Movies look great too except the motion quality isn’t top notch. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good. But this is a G10 model, not a V10. Here are my pros/cons…

Pros:

- Competitive price.

- Excellent clarity and color quality.

- Great for gaming (very minor phosphour trails).

- Minimal Glare.

- Built-in burn-in retention (I fell asleep to a blu-ray and the menu screen was on the screen all night and there was not even a trace of burn-in).

Cons:

- Motion quality is not quite as smooth as 120hz or 240hz technology, or the V10’s 96hz.

- The 48hz feature is worthless, the flicker is unbearable.

- The screen smudges super easily, but fortunately comes with a special cloth to clean the screen.

Bottom line.. Great bang for your buck!

Hope this review helps someone. :)

5 Stars Don’t believe Amozon about financing offers!
This review is not about the TV which is great. It’s to expose their fraudulent finance offers. One of the selling points for me was their 24 month no interest financing offer.THEY NEVER HONORED THAT OFFER!After I ordered the TV I started receiving e-mails from Amazon to the effect that my order was canceled. When I called to inquire why they said my Amazon store card was stolen.I told them this was impossible as I had not received it yet!I applied for it the same time I purchased the TV.I had to reapply for another card. This put me passed the deadline for the financing offer.By the way it took at lest an hour to get that straightened out as I keep getting passed back and forth between Amazon customer service and the credit department.Neither department wanted to take responsibility.I then confirmed with the representative that I would still get the same financing offer. To which she agreed.

When I received my first bill there was a finance charge.I called and the rep said it would be corrected and credited. It was not.I had another finance charge on my next statement.I then called GE who is a separate entity and does the financing for Amazon.I was told that they didn’t offer a 24 month no interest financing. He offered me a 18 month no interest financing.I decided this would be the best offer I could get so I took it.I’m just waiting to see if that will actually be honored!

Bottom line.Amazon can not legally make any financing offer as they don’t have a credit department.TV’s purchased on credit from Amazon are financed through GE.

5 Stars Samsung Flat Screen TV Review
I am very happy with this TV. Setup was easy, picture quality is great, and it looks great in the apartment. Very satisfied.

5 Stars Samsung LN46B750 240Z LCD HDTV
My wife and I are extremely pleased with our new TV. The price was well under any local prices that we shopped. With the year and no interest payback, it was a perfect time to upgrade. The picture is amazing! The only thing we don`t like is having to by the Samsung $80.00 part so that it can be wireless and online.

5 Stars Great Picture
I checked out many different 46″ TV’s and I found this to have the best picture of the bunch. Picture was great out the box and some of the other reviews may have been to critical of the picture quality. The blacks were black and the reds clear. The instructions were a little confusing and switching between modes was confusing.

5 Stars awsome lcd
wow this tv is amazing, its worth ur money trust me! i got my xbox with an HDMI cable an man the picture quality is amazing better than my old sharp lcd, not to mention than i got my pc hooked up as well. i would highly recommend this LCD is worth it :)

4 Stars Incredible picture, great features, but may have to work out screen issue
Overall, love this TV. Incredible picture and realistic movement (240Hz)–almost too good, since the movement of the camera, especially if hand-held for certain scenes is so distinct that it can sometimes be distracting, with all the “jarring” that happens during the filming. So, if that might bother you, stick w/120 Hz or less. We also own the LN40A550, which is also a great set but the jarring isn’t as obvious, I think because it’s only 60 Hz but great TV too & completely problem-free so far. Might even be nicer with larger than 40″ screen.

Caveat: Had LN40B750 about 2 months when picture completely disappears when turn on–now waiting on in-home (warranteed, thankfully) repair next week, which I’m anticipating will result in all being well. Since it’s relatively new on market, I am not completely upset about some potential bugs needing to be worked out and still give this tv a high rating–could probably say 5 stars, but will need to see what happens once repaired.

Other pros: I like touch of gray–wasn’t too into the red of other models. Screen is slightly shiny but not a problem, despite light from windows, which was a concern prior to seeing it in real life. BTW, you can set it so that the light at the bottom can be on or off, for those who are wondering and might not like that. Looks great w/DVD player and probably fantastic w/blu-ray, but haven’t tried that yet.

5 Stars Very Satisfied
Great product. Reference Manual helped, but not needed to get going. Picture is very good, but upgrading to the HD satellite receiver makes a big difference from standard receiver. Am now spoiled when I look at a “standard” TV. Product was delivered earlier than expected and delivery service called ahead of time. Great experience and would definitely go this route in the future.

5 Stars Fantastic TV
I researched HD TVs for several months before finally deciding on the LN40B750, and I am very, very glad that I waited and got such a good television. Many factors went into this decision:

1. The TV is for my bedroom, so I didn’t want one larger than 40″.

– This requirement took the Samsung LED 240Hz TVs out of the running, since they only offer those in 46″ and 55″ at this time

2. I had gone to many, many retail stores to see the screens with my own eyes. I went to so many stores because one store may have the Sony set up to be superior while another might favor the Vizio, while yet a third may favor Samsung. I found the Samsung to have a very clear, crisp picture very comparable to the Sony, but with a lower price point. I also found the Samsung to have a better picture than the Visio. (I also preferred the layout of Samsung’s remote over that of the Visio.)

3. I wanted a 1080P, 240Hz, 100K+:1 contrast ratio with lots of HDMI and component inputs.

The LN40B750 hit the money on all marks. It is a very pretty TV, with a shiny, easy-to-clean finish (it even comes with a micro-fiber cleaning cloth), and a gorgeous stand, if you don’t want to drill holes in your wall. The 240Hz picture (as others have said) takes a little getting used to. I tuned into USA HD once I had the TV on the stand I bought and hooked it up to my FiOS box and started watching “U-571″ in HD. Funny thing: it didn’t look right. In fact, it looked as if someone was putting on a live production of the movie. Everything was so crisp and clear, and the movements were so smooth, the entire movie ended up looking as if it were live! Two days later, I visited my father who has an older Sony HD TV (60Hz) and he put his HDDVD copy of U-571 in for me to compare. There was no comparison. As clear as his TV is, it didn’t hold a candle to the quality of the picture on the Samsung.

The menus are very, very easy to follow and comprehend. I do not care for the melody the TV makes when I turn it on or off, nor did I want that little light on the bottom to be on while I watch TV. Both were incredibly easy to disable. It is also child’s play to bring up the menu for adjusting the video settings such as judder, though I have not yet found reason to adjust them.

So far, I have watched several HD movies, 4 football games in HD, and about a dozen shows filmed in HD. Only the CBS HD broadcast gave me any reason to complain, and I understand that is because of their 1080i cameras. Fox, NBC, and ESPN apparently all use 720P cameras which are vastly superior. (Every time CBS switched to their on-the-field cameras, the entire picture ended up artifacted for a few seconds. Also, whereas I could have counted the blades of grass on the field on the other three channels, CBS’ picture was too fuzzy to make out that kind of detail.)

Lastly are the inputs. Ho-lee! *Four* HDMI inputs (three on the back, one on the right side as you face the TV)!! Four! Also, two dedicated component inputs, 1 dedicated composite input, and 1 component/composite input! Add to that the RF and PC (VGA) inputs, and its ability to display pics or videos off a USB drive and there is nothing you cannot play on this TV!

I will update this review later after I have hooked up my X-Box 360 and tried out some of the 1080P games, and after I get a wireless LAN antenna and update the TV.

Oh, one last point: I’d read in a few reviews here about the manual coming on a flash drive. Well, I bought my TV directly from Amazon (not a third party) and I got an actual book for my manual. Not sure what to make of that.

5 Stars Hard to imagine a better TV!
I’m not a techie; in fact, we had the people who did all the sound/security system wiring and initial TV/sound system installation in our new condo come back and install this TV. Shortly after I ordered the TV, I was given a delivery date and 2-hour time window, and the TV arrived right on time in a carton that looked like it’d never been touched. Installation (includind moving the ‘old’ TV to replace an even older one) took 1 1/2 hours and the finished product is awesome. If you want close-up viewing, the clarity from 18″ away is mind-boggling. I’m not much for reading manuals so I’m certain there are key features I’m missing, but for someone who just wants a great picture and ease of operation whenever they want to watch TV, this Samsung is hard to beat. We have another big (~60″) Samsung with DLP technology and I contend that it’s not possible to get a better picture than that one has, but this 40″ LCD may be just a little bit better.

I’m getting to the point — based on a couple years’ experience — that if I can’t buy something on Amazon, I don’t want it. It started with the Kindle and spread to a ridiculously limitless array of products.

3 Stars Samsung HDTV
TV does not have the sharp quality that I have seen in the stores. Remote control is difficult to understand. We did a lot of research about which unit to buy…but this TV does not live up to all the hype. Would not buy one again.

1 Star Terrible
I purchased the Samsung LN46B540 (46″ LCD) TV back in May and it has been nothing but a disappointment. First thing I noticed was that the built in speakers were terrible, they kept making a hissing sound. I was willing to live with the speaker issue since I was going to buy a surround system. However after a month the screen went out. I called Samsung and RMA the TV however they still have it and I am without the TV. Every time I call Samsung they tell me they see they received the TV however they are not sure of the status and will call me back. So far after 4 calls to Samsung not once have they called me back. Tonight I am going to make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, I will update my review if my case status ever changes.

4 Stars An Excellent Value and Attractive Set
I was originally considering a similar Toshiba set from Crutchfield, but that seemed to be discontinued. This was the next best value. It is a very attractive set and easy to set up and use. In terms of technical specifications, it is clearly not the best big screen set available, but it may be one of the best values available. I personally have not found things like screen refresh rate to be very important for the kind of watching I do, so this set has been more than adequate. It also appears to be pretty reliable, which always helps. I recommend it.

4 Stars samsung lcd 46″ TV
My Samsung 46 ” inch TV has a great picture and is very EZ to operate,

4 Stars Great TV for the Price
I have owned this TV for about 5 months and I am very impressed with this TV and have many good things to say about it. I currently have this TV hanging on my wall and usually watch it at around a 12-foot distance which I believe is a good distance for a 46-inch TV. I am also using this TV as a monitor for a home theater PC which looks just as good as my other computer monitor, if not better. The only reason i didn’t give this TV 5 stars is because of the built in speakers

PROS

Matte screen finish (Reduces glare significantly which is a big plus when viewing in a room with lots of windows)

Built-in video up-scalar is awesome (I am always impressed when watching VHS and DVD movies.)

Power Consumption (Only 230 Watts powered)

Weight (Weight without the stand is less than 50 lbs which is light enough for me to lift it onto the wall by myself)

HDMI connections (3 HDMI connections seems plenty enough for the devices I have currently)

60,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (twice as good as previous model)

CONS

Built in speakers (Speakers started to rattle and buzz after the volume was turned up to around 50. I would defiantly recommend a home audio system if you want to get the full movie experience)

Component video connections (I had to buy a component switch that could handle my component connections from my Wii, Playstation, and DVD player)
