5 Stars Some tech info
Very solid little TV. I bought it for my sons room and I’m really pleasantly surprised. The tv construction is solid and the performance is respectable. The remote is a little plasticy but has taken some abuse and is still working fine and looking as good as it ever did. (The last might not be a compliment.)

Here is some technical info I manged to dig up after a painfully long search. Hopefully it will help someone else if I leave it here.

NICE MONITOR, GOOD CRISP AND CLEAR VIEWING. ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE REMOTE IS VERY BAD. DIFFICULT TO CHANGE CHANNELS AND MAKE OTHER CHANGES UNLESS YOU ARE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF TV AND POINT AT SPECIFIC ANGLE. OTHERWISE, GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY.

5 Stars Works Great, kinda slow
Great Picture, Great Features. Plays almost every type of file from USB port.

As everyone states…the remote is pretty bad and you can’t use a universal remote for a replacement. It also takes about 15 seconds to power up (seems like forever compared to other TVs).

Overall it is a good value and you can’t beat the price!

Great value. Used the TV in camper and at home. Picture was best from front view. Brightened the screen and improved the side view quality.

5 Stars AC or DC operation
Question for owners of this TV. Does this run off of an AC/DC converter when plugged into the wall? The reason I ask is because if it uses the converter, it can be easily used in a boat or car. Thanks in advance for your input.

5 Stars Coby 15 inch TV with DVD player
We just received our new Coby TV and we really like it. We bought it for a bedroom where our grandkids will sleep when they come over. It will be nice to play some of their videos for entertainment. It is also very lightweight and has a great picture. Thanks! I would recommend this product highly.

4 Stars Sailing Cutter Puffin
Unit is very compact, sleek, and overall very well designed to fit in a tight space (such as a sailboat cabin). Sound quality is great. Picture is quite sensitive to viewing angle, particularly in low ambient light situations, but workable when used with ajustable mount. Manual was somewhat lacking in instructions detailing some aspects of the initial setup, typical of many asian manufactured electronics, but overcame this obstacle with some trial and error guessing. Overall performance has been good and seems a very good bargain.

2 Stars Not up to expected performace level
Purchased from my RV and was disappointed over performance. The viewing angle was limited and if one look at any angle other than level front the picture washed out quite badly in the RV. Also the remote control only worked when it wanted to and was difficult to find frequently used buttons on the key pad.

I returned to Amazon for credit. Need to see digital TV in person before purchasing.
