4 Stars Clearstream2 Antenna
Nice, clean unit. The Cable attachment is great – no adapters needed. Easy to adjust – pulls in stations well.
4 Stars Good antenna — I use it indoor and it still works
This is a good antenna. Before I put it on the roof, I tried it inside my house, it worked! Unlike all other indoor antennas I bought ealier, this one receives most of the channes anywhere in the house. This is good, because I don’t have to climb on top of my house, or even artica and break walls for coaxial cables. I just mount it on a floor lamp beside my TV and it works like a charm! During the process, I found that the reflector (grill) seems to be unnecessary. The “8″ rings worked just fine without the grill. But I used the grill on anyway. Another supprising discovery, if you hold the cable with bare hand, it works fine, too. So humanbody is actually a very good antenna
One design flaw with this antenna is that the cable connector is in a wrong place, you have to bend the cable almost 90 degree to connect to the connector. Why not to put the connector in a easy-to-reach place? In the assembling menual, those photos even do not show the unit connected with a cable! I gues it was too hard for the sales person to put cable in while taking the photo. A typical example of “integration test missing”. I’m in north suburb of Atlanta, GA, about 25~35 miles away from all main TV stations. I can see more channels now than before (when I was using other antennas at the only conner of my house to receive any signal). However, I still can’t see channel 11 (NBC) clearly. I guess its because of NBC’s signal is too weak. I guess I will have to watch evening news from other channels. Channel 2 (ABC) and 46 (CBS) are good.
5 Stars Happy with antenna
It’s pretty funny looking; even my daughter asked what “that thing” was on my roof. My wife described it as looking like something you could blow bubbles with. But it made the difference between not being able to receive any over-the-air broadcasts and having the best picture ever on our TV. Our remaining problem is that 95% of our local stations’ broadcast signals come right through our big elm tree. At times the image pixelates and the sound stops. I’m considering a taller antenna mast.
Some of the reviews I read before buying this antenna complained about difficulty attaching the cable because of the cramped hookup location. This is true, so prospective buyers may want to purchase a right-angle fitting and attach it before attaching the cable. Sealing the joints (as recommended) might be a bit more problematical, however.
2 Stars Does Not Deliver
This antenna was recommended as the ultimate solution to a specific location. Not only did it not deliver as promised but an antenna with half the supposed range of this model solved the problem. For the money you pay for this product, you could buy a real antenna and still save money.

We live at the top of an extinct volcano in the Pacific NW. The signal from the TV towers really don’t reach us that well but this antenna picked up the signal. We still need to position it depending on the channel we are trying to get, but the other 2 antennas I tried didn’t.
Antennas Direct CLEARSTREAM4 Antenna

ClearStream antennas represent a breakthrough in size and unmatched ultra efficient design and directionality. Advanced design software allows these 20″ x 28″ antennas to be smaller and powerful across the core UHF DTV spectrum offering consistent high gain. This advancement in antenna efficiency allows up to 98% of the available broadcast signal to actually reach the incoming antenna cable rather than being lost to impedance mismatches. The ClearStream4 quad-loop design receives all core DTV channels available with a range up to 65 +miles. There is also additional capability on higher level VHF frequencies. They are engineered for extra strength and durability, using anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance and are easy to assemble.

5 Stars C4 is an excellent value and performer
I wanted to have a default position of not needing cable or satellite TV, so with the DTV transition earlier this year, I thought the time was right. I researched possible antennas for DTV performance and rountinely found reviews of the Antennas Direct C4 to be the highest rated, so I bought it. I actually received it almost a month ago and experimented with it on a makeshift 12′ mast connected to my garbage tote. I routinely pulled in 13 + channels in the Florence, SC area once I found the best orientation. I mounted it permanently to the roof yesterday on a 10 ‘ mast using RG6 quad core coax cable and am now getting 32 + channels. In fact I am watching the Giants/Cowboys game as I write this ( go G men! ) in hi def. I am extremely satisfied at this point. Also, shopping on Amazon is a joy compared to many other online retailers. I wish my company’s web interfaces were this intuitive and easy to use!

Slightly worse reception than my radio shack 8 foot boom . I am in a fringe area .
5 Stars Antennas Direct Clearstream4
Best price I’ve found for this antenna. Works very well. We can now pickup many more channels than before! They all come in crystal clear. Also purchased the J Mount to install on the side of our house. Doesn’t look any worse than the prior dish did. Great value.
5 Stars Great reception most channels
Very nice reception on about 30 channels actually better than the cable we had.
Some of the close ones do not come in though. Kind of strange. Sometime you will be watching and they will also fade away.
But for what we wanted it is perfect
5 Stars Now I love digital
Great Product! I live in an area that can not get satellite TV. I am 65 miles from the major TV stations. I tried several antennas and had given up on having more then one channel. I purchased the ClearStream 4 and now have 17 channels! I’m thrilled. I live in a very wooded area in a valley. Thanks for a great product.
