5 Stars No degradation at all – Pro football junkies best friend
I have this hooked up to a second DirecTV DVR in the kitchen that has a small HDTV that isn’t much fun to watch football on. I ran the cable down into the basement then across the ceiling of the basement and back up into my living room. I told the wife I wouldn’t run any more cables. I use it to watch football games in my living room on my new Samsung 58″ plasma when there are 4 games on at the same time and I need 2 DVRs to record them simultaneously. Playback quality is excellent. Now I can take full advantage of my NFL Sunday ticket (I even have 2 other HD DVRs in the bedrooms so I can record 8 games in HD simultaneously – sick!)….and my wife sees me more than ever on Sundays. With DVRs, I control when I watch and now I’m free to do whatever I want on Sundays (which is pretty much watch football and I don’t even have a fantasy team). Maybe I need to see a doctor.
4 Stars Works as advertised
No problems; tested it side by side with a 6′ cable and works fine with Verizon FIOS HD DVR, XBox 360 and Panasonic upconverting DVD recorder. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is that I haven’t installed it in the final setup yet with a HDMI switch I plan to use (TV only has 1 HDMI input).
5 Stars Amazing Cable!
Originally I saw it’s very cheap and I bought it without lots of expectation. I never imagine to have such a high quality and performance cable with this price!
5 Stars Just the HDMI quality cable you’re looking for
This long cable came at just the budget price I needed and provided the same quality as I had with my 6′ cables.
1 Star Sparklies on Resolutions Higher than 420p
Expect to see sparklies and other screen artifacts when viewing sources at higher than 420p resolution. This cable is a disappointment. Hopefully, a repeater/amplifier will solve the problem.
